A two-part adjustable arm

A two-part adjustable arm

This holder stands out for its joint: an angled arm links the backplate to the cradle, and the shaft carries a hexagonal nut clearly visible in the photos.

You choose the tilt, then tighten the nut: the handset keeps its position even if you hang it back a little abruptly. To change the angle, loosen a quarter turn, reposition and tighten again.

The in-use photo shows it holding a chrome handset with a ribbed hose: the hose hangs freely beneath the cradle, without kinking at the outlet.

A backplate designed to hide the old holes

A backplate designed to hide the old holes

The oval backplate has two fixing holes about 5 cm apart, a measurement shown on the last photo. It is useful for a replacement: if your old holder had the same hole spacing, you can reuse the existing wall plugs.

If not, the backplate is wide enough to hide some of the old drill holes around the new fixing.

The arm holds the cradle away from the wall: the handset doesn't rub against the tiles and the water running off it doesn't trickle down the backplate. Before drilling, hold the backplate against the wall and mark the two points in pencil: the 5 cm hole spacing leaves no room for guesswork.

Fitting, adjusting and care

Fitting, adjusting and care

You need to drill two holes in the wall, at shoulder height. Screw the backplate on flat, then adjust the arm before tightening the central nut firmly.

The cradle is open at the top: it takes the handle of most handsets, which settle in by their flared section just below the head.

The holder is made of chrome-plated ABS. Rinse it with clean water after a soapy shower, wipe it dry, and check the nut is tight from time to time. If the nut loosens with use, a turn of the spanner is enough to give the arm its original firmness, without taking anything apart.

What makes the difference

About this tap

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
What is the spacing between the holes?
About 5 cm centre to centre between the two holes in the wall plate.
How do I lock the angle?
By tightening the hexagonal nut on the central joint, once the handset is positioned.
Is it really universal?
The open cradle takes the tapered handles of most shower handsets. A perfectly cylindrical handle with no flare could slip.
Is the hose included?
No: the handset and hose in the photos show the holder in use. The parcel contains the holder only.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
