White, for a hose that blends in

Most hoses are chrome or black. This one is white from end to end: spiral, hex nut at the mixer end and ring at the handset end. Against white ceramics, with a white mixer or handset, it almost vanishes from sight.

It also suits a Scandinavian-style bathroom or a child's shower with light-coloured accessories. The one thing to watch is that white shows marks from coloured shampoo or dark soap, which a rinse at the end of the shower removes. It also avoids the contrast of a dark hose on a light wall.

A spiral billed as reinforced

The supplier's photo is headed "Reinforced coating" and announces a sheath that withstands wear linked to high temperatures and leaks. The spiral of tight rings protects the tube that carries the water, on the inside.

In practice, the rings let the hose turn and bend when you unhook the handset, without forming a kink that would cut the flow. If your current hose is split, swollen or drips at a nut, this is the type of part that replaces it, without touching the rest of the shower. It is a wear part, changed without regret when it has had its day.

Fitting a 1.50 m hose

At 1.50 m, it connects a wall-mounted mixer to a handset on a bracket or sliding rail, at adult height. For a bath where you rinse sitting down, check the distance, as the handset must be able to come down to you.

The thread is not stated; the most common in showers is 1/2″ (15x21). You can do the replacement alone: water off, old hose unscrewed, flat washer in each nut, hand-tightened. No plumber and no drilling. Then turn the water back on and run a finger under each nut: if it stays dry, you are done.

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
Are the nuts white?
Yes, the photos show white ends at both ends.
What does "reinforced" mean?
The supplier states a sheath reinforced against heat wear and leaks; it takes the form of a spiral of tight rings.
How do I keep the white clean?
Rinse it at the end of the shower and clean it with soapy water; avoid abrasive powders.
Is it compatible with my installation?
The thread is not stated; mixers and handsets most often connect in 1/2″ (15x21). Compare with your current hose.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
