A console that works like a dashboard

A console that works like a dashboard

The heart of this column is its horizontal console, fixed to the wall by two round feet. In the centre, a graduated black dial acts as a selector; on the right, a flat lever adjusts the water. The flat top serves as a shelf.

In the photos, the console comes with a dark top on a dark grey column, or with a white top on a chrome column. A close-up also shows a transparent plate, drilled for the bar to pass through.

The supplier describes it as thermostatic, with a built-in valve: the control is on the column, not in the wall.

Two handsets, two uses

Two handsets, two uses

The first handset, with a square head, sits in a slider on the bar, under the square overhead shower head. It is used for everyday rinsing.

The second is a slim cylindrical holder with two buttons, stored upright to the left of the console. Its coiled hose stretches when you pick it up and retracts by itself afterwards: it doesn't trail on the shower tray.

This small extra spray is used to rinse the walls, feet or a pet, without unhooking the main handset. That is the real difference from a classic column.

Fitting, finish and care

Fitting, finish and care

The column is wall-mounted, on hot and cold water supplies that already come out of it. The console screws onto it, then the bar is fixed at the top. Measure the ceiling height before ordering: the square shower head is carried by an arm that holds it away from the wall.

The choice is between black and chrome; in the photos, the black version leans towards anthracite grey.

The square shower head is cleaned with a damp cloth; on the console, wipe off the drops after the shower to avoid limescale marks.

What makes the difference

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

What is the small cylindrical handset for?
It is an extra spray, stored on the console, with its own coiled hose: handy for rinsing the screens or your feet without touching the main handset.
Is it thermostatic?
The supplier describes it as thermostatic. The control visible in the photos is a flat lever combined with a round selector.
Is the black really black?
In the photos, the dark version is more of an anthracite grey. If you are matching it with matt black fittings, ask us for a photo before ordering.
When is it dispatched?

Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
