Three colours on one handset

Three colours on one handset

What sets this model apart is its handset: a white oval head, a black handle and, between the two, a gold knurled ring. The whole stands out against the chrome bar and brings a graphic touch to a plain shower.

In the photos, it is set in front of grey veined marble: the white and black really come into their own. It also goes with black or gold taps already in place.

The gold ring also gives your hand a reference point: you can grab the handset without looking.

A shower bar, no tap

A shower bar, no tap

This is not a shower system with a rain head: it is a round chrome shower bar, a slider and this handset. The water comes from your existing mixer or thermostatic valve.

The slider moves along the bar to suit each user's height. A separate wall holder also appears in one photo, for hanging the handset elsewhere in the shower.

The swivel slider tilts the handset towards you or towards the wall. It's a choice for anyone who wants to change the look of the shower without replacing the mixer or breaking any tiles.

Measurements and connection

Measurements and connection

The dimensioned diagram shows a head 110 mm in diameter, 253 mm long, 95 mm wide in profile, with a head 24 mm thick. A small lug on the side of the head lets you change jet.

The handset screws onto a hose with the standard 1/2″ (15x21) connection. The bar is fixed to the wall by two brackets, with a few holes to drill.

To keep the white clean, rinse the head after showering and rub the nozzles with a finger now and then.

What makes the difference

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.
