Square head, three sprays, one stop button

Square head, three sprays, one stop button

The head is square with very rounded corners, in matt black or chrome. A small selector on the side switches from one spray to the next: soft rain, mixed mode, or a concentrated pulsating jet, shown in three photos side by side.

On the handle, just under your thumb, a button marked STOP cuts the water without touching the mixer. Use it to soap up or shampoo, then restart with one press: the temperature set at the mixer does not change, and no water is wasted in the meantime.

The cartridge and taking it apart

The cartridge and taking it apart

A cutaway view shows a white cartridge housed in the handle, presented as a micron polyester fibre. Another photo compares three cartridges: new, after four weeks, then after eight weeks, increasingly coloured. It is a useful guide to when to change it.

An exploded view details the head: two sealing gaskets, a removable face and washable nozzles. The supplier gives no figure for what the cartridge retains, so we do not promise any effect on skin or hair.

What comes with it and fitting

What comes with it and fitting

The presentation photos pair the handheld shower head with a ribbed hose and a wall bracket, in black for the black version and in chrome for the chrome version.

The handheld shower head screws on by hand to the hose, which connects to the mixer; the bracket fixes to the wall and holds the handset between showers. It suits an existing shower you want to update without building work, or a family that wants a stop button within easy reach.

For upkeep, take the face off from time to time and rinse it in clean water.

What makes the difference

Calling a plumber to upgrade your shower.

Our answer

A standard 1/2″ thread: it screws on by hand in five minutes, with no need to shut off the water at the meter.

A harsh jet that hits one spot and leaves your back cold.

Our answer

A wide spray area: at the same flow rate, the water covers your shoulders.

Limescale-clogged holes that can no longer be cleared.

Our answer

Soft nubs that clean with a swipe of the finger.

A heavy head that's a chore to hold when rinsing a child.

Our answer

A weight you can hold at arm's length, even with one hand.

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

Our answer
  • 1 handset with its cartridge
  • 1 hose
  • 1 wall bracket

What does the STOP button do?
It cuts the water at the handset without touching the mixer; pressing again restarts it at the same temperature.
When should I change the cartridge?
A photo shows the cartridge taking on colour over the weeks: change it once it has clearly darkened or the flow weakens.
Are the hose and holder included?
The presentation photos show the handheld shower head with a hose and wall bracket, matched to the colour you choose.
Black or chrome?
Matt black for dark taps, chrome for classic taps.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
