A rail that stretches to 1.20 m

A rail that stretches to 1.20 m

The main dimension of this column is its adjustable rail: from 900 to 1,200 mm according to the drawing. You set it once at installation so that the rain falls above your head, whatever the ceiling.

The arm carrying the rain shower projects 41.5 cm, which places the 20 cm square plate well in the middle of the shower, not stuck to the tiles. The handset holder, for its part, slides over a wide range, from 80 to 119 cm on the drawing. The supplier presents it as adjustable without tools, with one hand.

Rain, handset, or both

Rain, handset, or both

The diverter on the rail offers three positions, illustrated one by one in the photos: handset and rain together, handset alone, rain alone. The third position, which runs both at once, is rare on columns without taps.

The diverter body is shown in copper in the detail photo. The square handset, about 9 x 10.5 cm, has a flat head and a slim handle. Note: with low pressure, opening both outlets at the same time splits the flow, and each spray will be gentler.

What is in the box, and connecting it

What is in the box, and connecting it

The photo of the package shows the arm, the rain shower, the handset, the rail, two hoses, the fixing hardware and a pair of gloves for handling the chrome without leaving marks. This is the column alone: no mixer.

It connects by hose to your wall water outlet or to your mixer, positioned according to the drawing between 1.10 and 1.30 m from the floor. The rail is fixed by screwed brackets, so plan to drill. The connector is not specified by the supplier; the shower standard is 1/2″ (15x21).
