Chrome Bath Shower System

This shower system goes above a bath: the wall-mounted mixer has a spout that fills the tub, and the same water goes up to the square rain head or down to the handset. You can take a bath or a shower without changing anything.

In the lifestyle photo, a second small trigger handset hangs beside the spout on its own hose. It is for rinsing the enamel after a bath, cleaning the screens or showering a child sitting in the water, without taking the large handset off its holder.

The mixer works with one hand, which matters when you are holding a child in the bath.

The rain head is a rectangular plate with rounded corners, pierced with regular rows of nozzles. The handset repeats this shape on a smaller scale, with a circle of nozzles in the centre giving a tighter spray.

The mixer body, its lever and the wall rosettes also have straight edges, in shiny chrome. The white shelf with a dark grille clips onto the tube: it keeps bottles within reach without adding a shelf to the wall.

Chrome is rinsed with clean water and wiped with a soft cloth to keep its shine.

The packaging photo shows the vertical tube, the upper arm, the square rain head, the handset, its hose, the trigger handset, the mixer with its spout, the shelf, the handset holder, two rosettes and the fixings.

The mixer screws onto two wall water supplies, hot and cold, using eccentric connectors supplied. If your bath already had a wall mixer, the supplies are in place. If not, call in a plumber to create them.

The tube is then fixed to the wall with a clamp: allow for a few holes in the tiles.
