Brushed stainless steel wall-mounted bath mixer tap with pen handset

The wall-mounted brushed stainless steel bath mixer with pen-style handset replaces the bath taps on their existing outlets. Its body is stainless steel. Its cartridge is ceramic — the part that decides whether a tap drips after three years. This model is listed in the our bath mixer taps.

It is fitted as wall-mounted. The parcel contains 1 tap, 2 connecting hoses, hot and cold water, 1 under-basin fixing system — threaded rod and nut, and the necessary sealing washers. Dispatch within 24 hours and 30 days to change your mind.

Choosing well: Bath mixer tap

Choosing well: Bath mixer tap

The pull-out spray changes the way you use a sink: you rinse the bowls, fill a container placed to one side, clean vegetables without moving them. The main criterion is the length of hose that comes out — below one metre, the benefit disappears.

The other models are gathered in our Bath tap.

Bath mixer tap: spray, flow and hose storage

Between two models, automatic return and the number of sprays decide it: a spray that does not return by itself ends up hanging.

  • Stainless steel body
  • Pull-out spray with several sprays
  • Automatic return to its housing
  • High spout, to fill a pan without tilting it
  • Ceramic cartridge, for drip-free operation

An aerator like Tap nozzle with 1080° swivel and 2 spray modes fits by hand and reduces the flow without you feeling it.

Caring for it and descaling the spray

Caring for it and descaling the spray

Descale the spray head every three months and check that the counterweight slides freely under the sink: it is what returns the spray to its housing.

In the kitchen, the aerator decides everyday comfort. Unscrewed and left for an hour in warm white vinegar each quarter, it regains its flow without anything else needing to be taken apart.

The rest of the selection can be seen in our Bathroom Tap.

What makes the difference

Waiting twenty minutes for the bath to fill.

Our answer

A generous flow: filling is no longer the longest part of the bath.

Turning the water off to switch from spout to handset, then setting the temperature again.

Our answer

A diverter that switches without losing the mix you have already set.

A handset with a hose too short to rinse the bottom of the bowl.

Our answer

A hose that reaches both ends of the bath.

A rubber washer that flattens and leaves the tap dripping after two years.

Our answer

A ceramic cartridge: two polished discs that shut off the water by contact.

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

Our answer
  • 1 tap
  • 2 connecting hoses, hot water and cold water
  • 1 under-basin fixing system — threaded rod and nut
  • The necessary seals
