A waterfall at the top of the panel

A waterfall at the top of the panel

The top of the panel leans towards you and carries two outlets: a horizontal slot at the front, which lets a thick sheet of water fall, and a grille of small nozzles beneath, which sprays rain. The close-up photo shows the water coming out in a sheet, like a small waterfall.

The panel is brushed metal, with a matt look that shows few marks. Its shape is straight, tall and narrow: it backs onto the shower wall and replaces the column, the shower head and the holders all at once. The supplier describes it as hydromassage; that is what its side nozzles show.

Back jets, hand shower and spout

Back jets, hand shower and spout

Two blocks of nozzles are set into the front: one at back and shoulder level, one lower down. The detail photo shows them projecting water horizontally, hence the massage effect. Between them, a lever sets the water and a round button above it selects the outlet.

The hand shower sits on a small holder to the right of the panel. At the very bottom, a short spout lets water run towards the floor: handy for filling a bucket, rinsing your feet or washing a shower tray. It is a rare detail on shower panels.

Installing and maintaining the panel

Installing and maintaining the panel

The water supplies connect behind the panel: check that your wall outlets fall within its width, or plan to move them with a plumber. The panel is then fixed to the wall by its brackets, at a height that places the waterfall above the head of the tallest person in the house.

To maintain it, a soft cloth and soapy water are enough on the brushed metal, wiping along the grain. The jets and the rain grille scale up in hard water: rub them regularly, and avoid abrasive products. With modest pressure, opening just one outlet at a time keeps a sharper spray.

What makes the difference

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

Does the panel have a chrome look?
No: it is a matt brushed metal rather than mirror chrome.
What is the lower spout for?
For filling a bucket, rinsing your feet or cleaning the shower tray, without wetting the rest of you.
How many outlets are there?
Waterfall and rain at the top, two blocks of jets, the handset and the low spout.
Do I need a plumber?
Yes, if your water supplies are not behind the panel; otherwise a competent DIYer can fit it.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
