Black shower system with glass shelf and round rain shower head

This column is unlike the others: instead of a single rail, it draws a frame. One tube rises to the rain shower arm, a second runs down in parallel, and the two meet at the bottom in a curve, a few centimetres from the floor.

The frame is held to the wall by round brackets at the top and bottom. In the photos, it is in a slightly glossy black, against blue walls, dark marble or light marble.

It suits a large open shower, where the column becomes a decorative feature.

Halfway up, a water-green tinted glass shelf rests on the frame: you set bottles and a sponge on it, and the water runs off the edges. A dark box is built into its right-hand end.

Just above, a small round tray holds the round-headed handset; its hose drops in a loop under the shelf.

At the top, the fairly large round rain shower is carried on a curved arm that brings it forward above your head. The hose thus stays tucked against the frame, without hanging in the middle of the shower. With its width, the rain shower suits a walk-in shower where you stand beneath it.

The supplier declares a plastic (ABS) box and wall bracket fixing; it gives no dimensions or detail of the water control. The photos are staged shots and do not show a temperature handle in close-up.

The glass shelf is cleaned with a microfibre cloth and diluted white vinegar to remove limescale marks.
