Black shower column without mixer, 25 cm rain shower head

This shower column has no temperature control: it takes water already mixed by your current shower valve. A hose links the outlet of that mixer to the diverter box at the bottom of the rail.

This black box has two pictogram buttons: one sends the water to the overhead rain shower, the other to the handset. You set the heat on the mixer, then pick the outlet with one press.

It is the way to switch to a rain shower without changing your taps or breaking the tiles.

At the top, the round overhead rain shower measures 250 mm in diameter on the dimensioned drawing. It is carried on a curved arm that brings it forward above your head.

The round handset, in a slider on the rail, offers three spray modes according to the supplier's image, including a rain spray and a mixed spray.

The body is declared as stainless steel with a brushed black finish. The middle wall bracket has a tightening knob: loosen, slide, tighten. In the photos, the column is fitted in a walk-in shower closed by a glass screen, where it takes up very little space.

The upper wall bracket is not fixed: it slides along the rail over a range of 800 to 1,080 mm according to the supplier. You can line it up with holes already drilled by the old column and avoid drilling into tiles again.

At the bottom, the supply hose screws onto the mixer outlet, usually with a standard 1/2″ (15x21) connection; check your thread before ordering.

To descale the rain shower, rub its nozzles and rinse with clean water. Replace the seals if you reuse old connectors.
