Made for a shower cubicle or a walk-in shower

Made for a shower cubicle or a walk-in shower

This model has no spout: it is used only to supply a shower. Its threaded outlet points upwards, in the middle of the body. It suits running up to a shower rail, a hose or the tube of a column without mixer.

The front is a rectangular plate set in front of the inlet bar, flanked by two square covers with rounded corners at each end. The long, flat lever drops vertically at rest.

A pictogram on the last photo shows the movement: to the left for hot water, to the right for cold.

Chrome or copper-edged black

Chrome or copper-edged black

The chrome version is mirror-polished. The version sold under the name “Black” is a brushed black whose edges reveal a copper edge, like oiled bronze: it gives a retro air to a shower with cement tiles or wood.

Both versions have the same dimensions and the same lever. For a coherent set, choose a rail and a shower head in a similar shade.

The supplier does not specify the centres or the contents of the parcel. On the copper finish, the edge is more visible on the edges than on the flat faces.

Connecting the top outlet

Connecting the top outlet

The upper outlet is a male thread: you screw on a shower hose with a 1/2″ (15x21) nut or the elbow of a column. Check the height available above the mixer if you plan to fit a rigid column.

The body is fixed onto two existing wall inlets, without drilling, using connectors suited to your centres. Measure this gap before ordering; if your inlets are not in place, have a plumber fit it.

Care: soapy water and a soft cloth, especially on the copper finish.

What makes the difference

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

Can you fill a bath with it?
No, it has no spout. It only feeds a handset, a rail or a shower column.
Is the black plain?
No: the photos show a black with coppery edges, bronze-style.
Where does the hose connect?
To the threaded outlet above the body, pointing upwards.
Is the shower head included?
The supplier lists no accessories. Allow for a handset and hose, or a shower column, separately.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
