Two inlets, one lever, one pull

Two inlets, one lever, one pull

“2 holes” here means the two wall inlets, hot and cold water, onto which the mixer screws. The body is rounded, the short spout ends in an aerator, and a knurled pull on top of the spout switches the water to the handset.

The lever carries a red and blue marker, handy for a child or a guest discovering the tap.

The diagram gives 150 mm centres, 170 mm in length and 130 mm in height, with a G1/2″ outlet under the spout. The spout stays short, which suits a bath placed lengthways against the wall.

Gloss chrome or matt black

Gloss chrome or matt black

The chrome version has polished round rosettes; the black version, fully matt, pairs with a black shower rail. A photo shows the black version under a rail with a soap dish and a round handset: that set is not included, it only shows how well they go together.

The supplier states a brass body and a ceramic cartridge. The close-ups show connector nuts whose threaded interior is brass-coloured.

The tap is sold without shower head or hose, according to the supplier. Choose them in the same shade to avoid a chrome hose under a black tap.

Installation and contents

Installation and contents

The photo of the parcel, black version, shows two rosettes and two eccentric connectors. They screw into the wall outlets and adjust between 130 and 170 mm according to the supplier, then the mixer is tightened onto them.

No drilling if your two inlets are already there; a like-for-like replacement takes a little under an hour, water off. Otherwise, a plumber needs to bring the inlets in.

You have 30 days to change your mind if the finish does not suit. Before the final tightening, check that the body is perfectly level.

What makes the difference

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

Our answer
  • 1 wall-mounted bath shower mixer
  • 2 eccentric connectors
  • 2 wall flanges

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
What does “2 holes” mean?
The mixer connects to two separate supplies coming out of the wall, one for hot water, one for cold.
Is it thermostatic?
No: it's a ceramic cartridge mixer, you set the temperature with the lever.
Are the rail and handset in the photo included?
No, they illustrate an installation. The supplier sells the tap without a shower head or hose.
Which hose should I choose?
Any hose with a 1/2″ (15x21) nut screws onto the G1/2″ outlet.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
