A holder that is also a water inlet

A holder that is also a water inlet

This is not a holder to screw into the tiles: it fits onto the plumbing. The rear nut screws onto a 1/2″ (15x21) water outlet, and the water comes out through the threaded connector under the body.

The hose connects there, and the handset sits in the cradle just above. Everything is in one place: inlet, holder, hose outlet.

It is the handy part when you convert a fixed shower head wall outlet into a handheld shower, without opening the wall or adding a holder beside it.

A ball joint to aim just right

A ball joint to aim just right

The last photo points to the "360° rotating ball" between the nut and the body. Swivel the holder to aim the cradle, then tighten the ring to hold it in place.

The open cradle takes a standard handset. You can leave it in place and use it like an overhead shower, or take it off to rinse.

Think about the hose length: it starts from the holder itself, so 1.5 m is usually enough to reach the lower body. The tighter the ball joint, the better the holder resists heavy handsets: tighten it if yours tends to nosedive.

Fit it without a plumber, if the outlet exists

Fit it without a plumber, if the outlet exists

Before ordering, check your outlet: it must have a 1/2″ thread, the French standard for shower heads and hoses. Turn off the water, unscrew the old shower head or elbow, apply a few turns of PTFE tape and screw the holder on by hand.

The body is stated to be ABS, in black, chrome or brushed metal: the metal shade stays discreet next to stainless steel taps.

A fibre or rubber washer in each nut prevents drips. Check for leaks the first time you turn the water on. It needs no drilling, so it also suits a rental, as it unscrews just as it went on when you leave.

What does it fit onto?
On a water outlet or shower arm threaded 1/2″ (15x21): it replaces a fixed shower head or goes on the end of an arm.
Where does the hose connect?
On the threaded tip under the holder body. Standard shower hoses screw onto it.
Can the handset be angled?
Yes, the head turns on a ball joint; once you find the angle, tighten the ring.
Do I need to drill into the wall?
No, it screws onto the existing plumbing. You only need to turn off the water while fitting it.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
