XXL Rain Shower Head

The data sheet gives 302 mm in diameter and 90 mm thick, at 1,050 g. It is a large head: it covers your shoulders and a good part of your back without you having to move under the spray.

The black face is pierced with rings of nozzles, with a row of arc-shaped slots along the bottom. The rim is anthracite grey with a metallic look.

In the in-situ photo, it is carried by a straight-lined square wall arm that holds it slightly tilted. A head of this size suits a walk-in shower or a wide cubicle.

The “Flow mode” photo shows two functions: a jet of thick streams and a fine, dense rain. At the centre of the face, a round button has two markings: it is what switches from one to the other.

The dense rain is good for rinsing long hair; the thicker streams feel more invigorating.

The dark nozzles on the black background stay discreet and limescale water marks show less than on a chrome face. The button remains reachable even with your head raised: you turn it with your fingertips.

The connector is 1/2″ (15x21). The head screws onto a wall-mounted shower arm or onto the top outlet of a shower column, with a few turns of PTFE tape.

At a little over a kilo, it needs a sturdy arm that is firmly fixed to the wall. Avoid mounting it on a light telescopic column that would bend under the weight.

The arm in the first photo is not mentioned in the package contents: check that you have one. To clean, a soft sponge and soapy water are enough. Tighten without forcing so as not to mark the anthracite rim.
