Choosing well: toilet tap

A waterfall tap gives a flat, wide, highly visible sheet of water. It is an aesthetic choice with a technical trade-off: it needs a good flow for the sheet to stay continuous. Below 2 bar, the effect breaks up.

Between two models, the width of the spout blade and the finish of the spout decide it — it is the part you look at all the time.

An aerator like Tap hose connector fits by hand and reduces the flow without you feeling it.

Caring for it without scratching the finish

Clean the outlet regularly: limescale settles there in a line and the sheet of water becomes uneven. A microfibre cloth and diluted vinegar are enough, never abrasive powder.

In the kitchen, the aerator decides everyday comfort. Unscrewed and left for an hour in warm white vinegar each quarter, it regains its flow without anything else needing to be taken apart.

In the same spirit, Cold-water basin tap with curved spout, black or chrome completes the installation.
