Two water outlets on one mixer

Two water outlets on one mixer

This black wall-mounted mixer has a special feature: besides the bidet shower, it has a swivel spout under the body. The spout is used to fill a bucket, rinse a mop or wash your hands in a toilet without a handbasin; the handset is for intimate hygiene.

The handset is stored in a holder fixed to the side of the mixer, connected by a black hose stated as 120 cm. The lever, on top, carries a red and blue marker for the temperature.

All straight lines and matt black, it goes with a black flush plate or accessories.

Warm water, set with the lever

Warm water, set with the lever

A mixer takes in hot and cold water and blends them: you choose the temperature with the lever, as at a basin. For intimate hygiene, that is the whole point compared with a handset connected to the cistern, which only gives cold water.

You therefore need two supplies at the installation point. The mixer is mounted surface-style on two brass eccentric connectors, visible in the package, which take up a small gap between the wall outlets; two black flanges cover them.

If the pipes already come out of the wall at that spot, no chasing in is needed.

A weighty, complete set

A weighty, complete set

Placed on scales, the mixer and spout part reads 941 g: a well-weighted brass body that does not feel like a toy once fixed to the wall.

The contents photo also shows the handset, the hose, the two eccentrics, the flanges, seals and a small hex key for tightening. Nothing more to buy for the installation, apart from PTFE tape if you use it.

Matt black is cleaned with a damp microfibre cloth; avoid chlorine products and scouring powders, which dull it. Keep an open-ended spanner to hand for the eccentrics, as well as the small key supplied.
