A panel rather than a bar

A panel rather than a bar

There is no tube or arm here: everything is built into a flat panel about 19.5 cm wide and 115 cm high, according to the diagrams. It sits flat against the wall and hides the pipes behind it.

The top of the panel curves forward and ends in a wide outlet: the water falls from it in a sheet, like a waterfall, instead of breaking into droplets.

The body is stated to be stainless steel. You can choose brushed steel, white or black; the knobs and handset stay chrome on all three.

Massage, waterfall and handset

Massage, waterfall and handset

On the front face, two groups of small nozzles are set into the panel: one at shoulder height, the other lower down, towards the legs. They project the water horizontally, towards the body.

Between the two, two round chrome knobs control the water. On the side, a rectangular handset about 20 cm long rests on a holder; its metal hose, about 1.40 m according to the diagram, runs down the panel.

This panel suits anyone who wants a massage shower without a cubicle, in an already tiled bathroom.

What to check before fitting

What to check before fitting

Installation is wall-mounted: the panel connects to a hot and a cold water supply, then is fixed to the wall. The connections are made behind it, so you need access during fitting; if your water outlets aren't in the right place, a plumber will move them.

At 115 cm high, the panel fits under most ceilings; allow for the height of the connection as well.

The massage nozzles scale up like a shower head: wipe and rinse them regularly. If the panel sits against the tiles, a bead of bathroom silicone around its edge stops water getting behind it.

What makes the difference

A shower that only wets your head and shoulders.

Our answer

Massage jets aimed at the back and lower back, adjustable one by one.

Buying the mixer, the rail and the shower head separately and hoping they match.

Our answer

A complete set: everything arrives matching, in the same finish, with the fixings included.

Breaking into the tiles to conceal the tap.

Our answer

Surface-mounted installation on the two existing outlets: no chasing, nothing to make good.

A fixed shower head that aims at your head and nothing else.

Our answer

A rain shower head that covers the shoulders, paired with an adjustable handset.

Turning the water off to change outlet, then setting the temperature again every time.

Our answer

A diverter that switches from one outlet to the other without touching the mix.
