A bar, a swivel spout, a stowed handset

A bar, a swivel spout, a stowed handset

The body is a horizontal tube between the two inlets, with the mixer at one end and, at the other, a holder where the handset stands upright. The tubular spout starts under the lever; an annotated photo shows that it swivels 90° to the right.

You can thus swing it away from the edge of the bath or bring it back under the handset depending on use.

It is the only model in this range where the handset is part of the tap rather than a separate rail: everything sits in one line, with no extra drilling for a holder.

Black version or chrome version

Black version or chrome version

In matt black, the handset is a thin, elongated stick with a row of nozzles, and the hose is black. A photo shows a hand using it to rinse.

In chrome, the photos show a wider round handset with multiple jets and a metal hose.

The supplier describes a brass body, a single handle for hot and cold and a ceramic valve. The slim stick handset is comfortable to hold for rinsing the sides of a bath; the round one covers a wider area.

Contents and fitting

Contents and fitting

The photo of the parcel, black version, shows the mixer, the stick handset, the hose, two rosettes, two eccentric connectors and seals.

This mixer fits onto two wall inlets, hot and cold water, as shown by the two rosettes and the two eccentrics. No drilling if these outlets exist; otherwise, call a plumber.

The handset's nozzles are cleaned with diluted white vinegar. Allow for the height of the handset stored above the bar before choosing the location, under a window or a shelf for example.

What makes the difference

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here 2 holes.
