The most geometric in the range

The most geometric in the range

On this mixer tap everything is at right angles: the inlet bar, the body sitting on it, the flat spout that projects over the bath, and even the lever, a plate that lifts up. The wall rosettes are square too, which sets it apart from models with round covers.

The diverter pull is a small cylinder topped with a disc, on top of the spout.

The diagram gives 160 mm in length, 100 mm in height, a 200 mm bar and 150 mm between the inlets. It is the bulkiest of the square mixers in this range.

The finish is brushed stainless steel, a satin light grey that goes well with brushed nickel accessories. The supplier states a zinc alloy body under this finish.

A lifestyle photo shows a square handset with pin-style jets on a wall bracket: it illustrates the use, and the supplier states that the tap is sold without shower head or hose.

To clean, rub in the direction of the brushing with a damp microfibre cloth, then dry: limescale marks show little on this matt finish. Avoid steel wool, which would cross the brushed grain.

Fitting on a 150 mm outlet

Fitting on a 150 mm outlet

The body screws onto two wall inlets using eccentric connectors that take up a gap of 130 to 170 mm according to the supplier. No drilling if the outlets already exist; adjust the eccentrics, screw on the square rosettes and tighten the mixer nuts.

Under the spout, the G1/2 outlet takes the hose. The spout aerator unscrews for descaling.

If you are replacing an old mixer, measure the real gap before ordering. Without inlets in place, a plumber will need to create them before fitting.
