An angle you set in one move

An angle you set in one move

The photos show it with an arrow: the part that holds the handset pivots about 30° on the backplate. Tilt it downwards to rinse without wetting your hair, or forwards for a full shower.

The visible screw on the side is the joint screw. It lets you restore a little firmness if, over time, the handset tips the cradle under its own weight.

It is the simple holder for a family bathroom: everyone sets the angle to their own height, adult or child, without taking anything apart.

The dimensions to check before you order

The dimensions to check before you order

The diagram shows an overall length of about 8 cm, a backplate height of 7.3 cm and a cradle 3.7 cm wide, with 4 cm of depth where the handle sits.

This U-shaped cradle takes a standard shower handset handle, slimmer towards the hose and wider towards the head. Measure yours just below the shower head: if it flares wider than the opening, it will sit on top without slipping.

The dimensions suit a discreet replacement: it takes the place of an old broken holder without leaving any trace around it.

Wall fitting and care

Wall fitting and care

The oval plate has two fixing holes, one above the other: fitting is by screwing. On tiles, drill with a suitable bit, going through the glaze first with a piece of adhesive tape so the bit doesn't slip.

Place the holder at the shoulder height of the shortest user: thanks to the tilt, taller users will compensate with the angle.

For care, a soft cloth and soapy water are enough. Avoid scouring cream and abrasive sponges, which would dull the chrome plating on the ABS.

What makes the difference

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

Will my shower handset stay on it?
Yes, if its handle is tapered, like most handsets: it sits in the 3.7 cm-wide cradle. Compare with the measurement just under the head.
Do I need to drill?
Yes: the base plate is fixed with two screws, one above the other.
Is the tilt adjustable?
Yes, the front section tilts by about 30° around its axis, and the side screw lets you stiffen the joint.
What is it made of?
Chrome-plated ABS, a rigid plastic that does not rust in the shower.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?
