A black panel that massages from top to bottom

A black panel that massages from top to bottom

The heart of this shower is a long black panel, set flat against the wall. On its face, small nozzles line up in rows from the top down to knee level. Opened, they project fine fan-shaped jets towards the person under the shower.

Two square controls, one above the other, sit below the nozzles. A hose comes out of the bottom of the panel and feeds a slim hand shower, stored alongside.

The panel is stated to be stainless steel, in a matt black finish. You choose it for a tiered massage: the jets hit the shoulders, back and legs at the same time, without changing position under the water.

The rectangular head and its sheet of water

The rectangular head and its sheet of water

Above, a separate rectangular head fixes to the wall by a short arm. Under its face, a grille of nozzles gives a vertical rain; at the front, a slot lets a sheet of water fall as a waterfall, visible in the photos.

The waterfall gives a feeling of a sheet of water on the nape, different from rain in drops. Because the head and the panel are independent, you set their height and spacing to suit the size of the shower.

The whole makes a graphic, very dark shower, which goes well with grey tiles or polished concrete.

Installing and caring for a black set

Installing and caring for a black set

The panel sits flat against the wall and its water supplies stay hidden behind it; the head needs its own high wall outlet. Allow for two water points on the wall, to be prepared before tiling with a plumber.

The panel's many nozzles are sensitive to limescale, like all small nozzles: in hard water, a wipe with a cloth after showering and regular cleaning with diluted vinegar keep them clear. Matt black is cleaned without abrasive product. For the rectangular head, a damp cloth on the grille and in the waterfall slot is enough to keep a steady sheet of water.

What makes the difference

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A stainless steel body: immune to corrosion, it keeps its look despite constant contact with water.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

Is the panel built into the wall?
In the photos it sits flat against the wall, with the supplies hidden behind. The rain head is fixed separately, above.
What does the rectangular head do?
It gives a rain spray through its grille and a waterfall sheet of water from the front.
Do I need two water supplies?
The panel and the head are separate: plan one outlet for each. A plumber will prepare it before the tiling.
How do I stop the nozzles scaling up?
Wipe the panel after showering and clean the nozzles regularly with diluted white vinegar.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
