What you can see in the photos

What you can see in the photos

The body is square and chrome, with a flat spout that projects over the bath. The lever starts at the top and flares into a paddle; in the wall photo, a hand pushes it to open. In front of it, a small pointed pull directs the water to the handset.

In the last photo, the tap is fitted with square rosettes that follow the lines of the body, whereas the first view shows it with round rosettes.

It has no graduated dial: the temperature is set by hand, with the lever, as on any mixer.

Everyday use

Everyday use

You lift the lever to open, turn it left for hotter, right for colder. To switch from bath to shower, you pull the diverter; on most diverters of this type it drops back down by itself when the water is closed.

The outlet under the body takes a hose with a 1/2″ (15x21) nut, seen connected in two photos. The spout carries a grid aerator, removable for descaling.

Polished chrome is cleaned with a wipe of a microfibre cloth; a mix of water and white vinegar dissolves limescale marks without rubbing.

Surface-mounted fitting

Surface-mounted fitting

This mixer fits onto two inlets that come out of the wall, with eccentric connectors that you screw in and then adjust before tightening the body nuts. No drilling of the tiles is needed if the outlets exist.

The supplier gives neither the centres nor the contents of the parcel: measure the gap between your inlets and check that you have eccentrics, or write to us before ordering.

If you are starting from a bare wall, have the inlets fitted by a plumber. For a simple replacement, allow for an open-ended spanner, PTFE tape and the mains water shut off during the job.

What makes the difference

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
Is it thermostatic?
No: a single lever, with no graduated dial or temperature stop. It's set by hand, like any mixer.
Can it be used for the shower only?
Yes: pull the diverter and the water goes to the hose. The spout can still be used to fill a bucket.
Which finish?
Shiny chrome only.
Are the eccentric connectors included?
The supplier doesn't say. Our customer service replies Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm, to confirm.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
