Silver Rain Shower Head

This model has no arm: it is a single stainless steel plate, fixed to the wall at its end, which projects horizontally over the shower.

At the end, a 20 × 20 cm square of nozzles makes the rain fall. Closer to the wall, a 12.5 cm slot releases a waterfall blade, visible in the third photo. Both can run together, as in the first photo.

You stand under the rain for a full shower, or under the waterfall for a thick jet on the neck.

The dimensioned photo shows 53.8 cm in length by 23.5 cm in width. The rain is therefore almost half a metre from the wall: make sure the shower is deep enough.

Seen from below, the plate has an outlet tube at the back, which connects to the water inlet in the partition.

The photos also show a black version; the option offered here is chrome, in line with the title. Measure the distance between the wall and the edge of the shower tray before ordering: the rain must fall inside the shower, not on the glass screen. A plate of this length requires a load-bearing wall or a well-reinforced partition.

The plate fixes to a concealed wall supply. To control the rain and the cascade separately, you need a concealed mixer or thermostatic valve with a diverter, not supplied.

This is a full-renovation fitting, to be installed with a plumber before tiling, allowing for the height under the plate.

The smooth surface of the stainless steel wipes clean with a squeegee or microfibre after your shower: it is the best protection against limescale marks. Choose a height that leaves a good margin above the head of the tallest users.
