Shower system with shelves and piano keys

This column is recognisable by its two shelves, fixed between its tubes at chest and waist height. In the photos, they hold bottles of shower gel, shampoo and soap pumps: no more need for a corner shelf or a hanging basket.

The top of the column has two parallel arms: one carries the large round shower head, the other serves as structure. The round handset slides on its holder to suit everyone's height.

In matt white, it brightens a small shower room; in grey, it goes well with warm-toned tiles.

At the bottom, a flat unit carries four square buttons with pictograms, which you press to choose the outlet. A large dial, on the right side of the unit, adjusts the water. One photo shows water also flowing from under the console.

Below the unit hangs a hygiene handset with a trigger and a coiled cord: handy for rinsing the tray, your feet or a pet without unhooking the main handset.

The column is stated as thermostatic, i.e. designed to hold the chosen temperature; one photo shows the console weighed at 2,263 g, a sign of a solid body.

The column is surface-mounted: the console screws onto the wall water supplies, and the tubes are fixed with clamps. On existing supplies, allow for a few holes; a plumber can rework them if they are badly placed.

The shelves are wiped like the rest, with a soft cloth. Remove the bottles before wiping, and dry the underside of the shelves, where water tends to remain and leave white marks.
