Two tubes, a lever, an upright hand shower

Two tubes, a lever, an upright hand shower

This mixer comes down to simple shapes: a horizontal tube carrying the lever, a second parallel tube below serving as the spout, and a vertical holder at the end where the hand shower is stored upright. Fixed to the wall, the whole makes a graphic line, in matt black or brushed gold.

With its spout, it sits above a bath. The title mentions a waterfall, but in the photos the water comes out in a full column at the end of the tube, with no flat sheet of water. In a shower without a bath, this spout is used to fill a bucket or rinse your feet.

The pencil hand shower, slim and light

The pencil hand shower, slim and light

The hand shower is a narrow cylinder, pierced with small nozzles at its end. You hold it like a torch and it projects a narrow spray, handy for rinsing hair, body or walls. Stored in its holder, it stays in line with the mixer, with no round head sticking out.

The supplied hose, in the same shade as the rest, links the hand shower to the bottom of the mixer. The single lever sets flow and temperature by hand; it is not a thermostatic. The hand shower comes off in one movement and goes back just as fast.

What is in the box, and installation

What is in the box, and installation

The contents photo shows the mixer, the hand shower, the hose, two brass eccentric fittings, two escutcheons and two washers. The connection is stated as 1/2″ (15x21) and the installation as two-hole: the mixer screws onto two wall supplies, hot and cold.

The eccentrics screw into the wall with PTFE tape and take up a small gap between the supplies; the escutcheons then hide the thread. If your supplies already exist, a DIYer can fit it; otherwise a plumber is needed. The parcel ships within 24 h, with free UK delivery.

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A stainless steel body: immune to corrosion, it keeps its look despite constant contact with water.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here 2 holes.

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
Is the handset included?
Yes: the photo of the contents shows the pencil-style handset and its hose, with the eccentric connectors, wall plates and washers.
Is it really a waterfall tap?
The spout is a tube from which the water falls in a single column; there is no flat sheet of water.
Do I need a bath?
Its spout suits a bath best, but it can also be fitted in a shower if two wall supplies are available.
Black or gold: how do I care for them?
A soft cloth and soapy water for both; no abrasive sponge, which would mark the matt black and brushed gold.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
