An adhesive plate instead of two holes

An adhesive plate instead of two holes

The difference shows in every photo: the holder is mounted on a transparent plate, wider than itself, which sticks to the wall. No screws, no wall plugs, no tile drill bit.

It is the answer for a rental, for a shower where you don't want to drill the tiles, or for adding a second holder at child height next to the first.

Stick it to a smooth, clean, completely dry surface: degrease the tiles with household alcohol, press firmly for several seconds and wait before hanging the handset on it.

Dimensions and cradle

Dimensions and cradle

The diagram shows about 8 cm wide by 12 cm high for the plate, and 6 cm projection for the holder body. The bonding area is therefore larger than the item itself, which spreads the weight of the handset.

The cradle, open at the top, takes the handle of a standard handset. The in-use photo shows it with a round multi-jet shower head and its metal hose.

Check that a tile grout line doesn't run under the plate: the adhesive bonds better on a whole tile.

Chrome, grey or black

Chrome, grey or black

Three finishes are available. Chrome has the shine of classic taps, black matches a matt black rail or mixer, and grey stays discreet on light tiles or concrete.

The body is made of ABS, a rigid plastic that doesn't rust. Clean it with a soft sponge and soapy water, never an abrasive product that would scratch the finish.

Avoid pulling on the hose when the handset is hung back up: sideways strain is what wears out a stuck-on holder most. Grey, the less common finish, goes well with a smoked glass screen or a slate shower tray, where chrome would be too shiny.

What makes the difference

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
Do I need to drill into the wall?
No: the holder is fixed by a transparent adhesive plate of about 8 × 12 cm.
Which wall can I stick it on?
On a smooth, clean, dry surface: tiles, glazed ceramic, glass. Avoid porous plaster, raw wood and grout lines.
Can I use it straight away?
Let the adhesive set before putting the handset on it: a few hours is better than it coming away on day one.
Which finish should I choose?
Chrome, grey or black: pick the one that matches your mixer or shower rail.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
