The shower head and its hose, in the same colour

The shower head and its hose, in the same colour

Replacing a gold shower head while keeping an old chrome hose spoils the effect. This item is sold as a kit: the handset and a gold ribbed hose, with its two nuts, as the last photo shows.

The shade leans towards antique gold, slightly brushed, closer to brass than bright yellow. It goes with a mixer, rail or bathroom accessories in the same range of tones.

The lifestyle photos show the handset resting on a gold wall holder, but this holder is not part of the kit as advertised.

A round head with a light face

A round head with a light face

The head is a disc edged with a gold rim, with a white face pierced by grey nubs. In the centre, a rosette of tighter nozzles stands apart from the outer ring.

On the edge, a small white lever lets you vary the spray, as seen in the side view. The handle is a straight gold tube ending in a visible thread.

The light face has a practical advantage: limescale marks show up early, so you can rub them off before they block the nozzles.

Fitting the kit without tools

Fitting the kit without tools

Turn off the water at the mixer, unscrew the old hose from the shower outlet, then screw on the new one, washer in place. The shower head then screws on at the other end, on the conical nut side. Everything is 1/2″ thread, compatible with most mixers and shower taps.

Tighten by hand: over-tightening with pliers marks the gold finish. If a slight seep appears, tighten a quarter turn more.

It has no filter cartridge: regular care remains your best ally against limescale.

Is the wall bracket included?
No: the kit as advertised includes the handset and the hose. The holder in the lifestyle photos must be bought separately.
Is the hose the same colour?
Yes, it's gold like the shower head, with matching nuts.
Is there a filter in the shower head?
No: there is no filter or cartridge. So we don't promise filtration.
How do I look after the gold finish?
Soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid acidic descalers and scouring sponges on the gold metal.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
