A line pared down to the essentials

A line pared down to the essentials

No ring, no dial, no coloured nubs: a thin disc pierced with about thirty regular holes, set at the end of a cylindrical handle. The finish seen in the photos is a satin stainless steel, light grey and matt, rather than a mirror chrome.

This style goes with stainless steel or brushed nickel taps and fittings, a mixer with a slim handle, or an industrial-inspired bathroom.

The head and handle form a single metal piece, with no visible plastic. This shower head favours form: little thickness, no moving parts, a silhouette that disappears in the shower.

One spray, straight

One spray, straight

The action photo shows a rain of straight, clean streams coming out of the disc in parallel. There is only one spray: the feel depends on your pressure and your mixer.

The supplier mentions high pressure and an anti-limescale coating, without giving a figure: we do not add one. Note that the holes are drilled in the metal, with no soft nozzle; in hard water, soaking the head in diluted white vinegar clears them. This straight spray suits rinsing long hair well, where a rain that is too scattered rinses poorly.

Installation and contents

Installation and contents

The threaded end at the bottom of the handle is the standard 1/2″ (15x21): it screws by hand onto your hose, washer in place. No drilling, no plumber.

The parcel contains the shower head only. The holder and hose in the lifestyle shot are not included; your current holder will do as long as it accepts a round handle.

A dry microfibre cloth after showering prevents water marks on the satin finish. As the disc is thin, check that your holder lets the head stand clear without rubbing the tiles.

What makes the difference

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

Our answer
  • 1 shower head

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A stainless steel body: immune to corrosion, it keeps its look despite constant contact with water.

Yes with a standard 1/2″ (15x21) hose.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
