Reinforced Shower Hose - Rose Gold

Rose gold hoses are uncommon. This one has a shiny copper spiral, with end fittings in the same colour. In the photos, it leans towards pinkish copper rather than gold: it is the tone of "rose gold" taps and accessories.

It finds its place in a bathroom with white, powder-pink or terracotta walls, or beside copper mirrors and hooks. With a chrome mixer, it would make a stark break: keep it for a set already in these warm tones.

The product image announces a reinforced coating, designed to withstand wear linked to hot water and prevent leaks. The spiral of regular rings protects the tube that carries the water.

The shiny reflection of the copper pink shows fingerprints and dried drops more than a matt finish. A quick wipe with a microfibre cloth after your shower keeps it bright. For limescale, a little very diluted white vinegar, then a rinse: never an abrasive sponge, which would dull the tint. The end fittings are cleaned the same way.

The hose is 1.50 m long, the standard length for a handset hung from a wall bracket or sliding rail.

The data does not give the nut diameter; in bathrooms the usual connection is 1/2″ (15x21), so compare with your installation. Fitting needs no plumber: turn off the water, remove the old hose, place flat washers in the nuts, screw on at the mixer end then at the handset end, tighten by hand. Then turn on the hot then the cold water to check the connections. No tools are required.
