A matt black in one piece

A matt black in one piece

Unlike spiral hoses, this one has a continuous, smooth sheath in a uniform matt black. The black ends are in the same tone, with the brass internal thread showing at the bottom of each nut.

This look with no relief goes with a black handset and mixer without adding any reflection. It also cleans faster: there are no hollows between coils where soap and limescale marks lodge. A soft sponge wiped over at the end of the shower keeps the black crisp.

Three versions depending on length and ends

Three versions depending on length and ends

The hose comes in 1.5 m, with or without nuts, and in 2 m with nuts. 1.5 m suits a shower with a bar or wall holder; 2 m gives more slack above a bath or in a large walk-in shower.

The supplier doesn't detail exactly what “with” or “without nuts” covers. In the photos, one version has black ends, another, labelled 1.5M, silver ends. If the colour of the ends matters to you, write to us before ordering: we will confirm the version shipped.

Fitting in three moves, no PTFE tape

Fitting in three moves, no PTFE tape

The installation photo details the procedure: align the nut with the mixer outlet and tighten, do the same on the handset side, and the hose is in place. It states that fitting is done without PTFE tape, with the two washers supplied in the package.

The connection is stated as 1/2″, i.e. the 15x21 of the vast majority of mixers and handsets. No tool is shown: hand-tightening is enough, the washer makes the seal. If a drop appears, tighten a quarter turn more rather than forcing it.

What is the difference between "with" and "without nuts"?
The supplier does not detail it; the photos show black ends and silver ends. Write to us and we will confirm the version before dispatch.
Is the 2 m too long?
For a shower with a wall holder, 1.5 m is enough. The 2 m is for use over a bath or when the mixer is fitted low.
Do I need PTFE tape?
No, according to the installation photo: the two supplied washers make the seal.
Is it compatible with my shower handset?
Yes, if it screws on as 1/2″ (15x21), the stated size for this hose and the most common in bathrooms.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
