A hollow cylinder head

A hollow cylinder head

The head is shaped like a small drum 9 cm in diameter, with a round hole through its centre. The nozzles are arranged in two rings around this void, giving a silhouette you won't mistake for any other handset.

Total length is 26 cm, with a 2 cm connector. Two shades: light silver, called "Brushed stainless steel" in the colour choice, or a deeper grey. The photos state the body is ABS plastic, not metal: it stays light, even held for a long time.

The edge of the face is marked 1 to 5: you turn the ring to switch from one spray to the next. The thumbnails show a wide rain, a fine spray, a concentrated jet, a mix and a mist.

On the handle, a square button cuts the water with one press and restarts it with another, without touching the mixer.

One photo shows a hand removing the nozzle plate: the face comes off for a thorough clean, and the nubs can be rubbed with a finger between removals.

It is supplied on its own. The photos say so in black and white: no hose, no wall bracket, no other accessory. It screws onto your current hose, at the standard shower connector.

The manufacturer also states that it is not suitable for an instantaneous water heater or a thermostatic water heater, and that it is for shower use only. If your hot water comes from a device of this type, choose another handset.

With a hot water cylinder or a conventional boiler, it fits in a minute, no tools needed. Just check that the washer on your hose is in good condition.
