Rounded shapes without excess

Rounded shapes without excess

This bath shower mixer is all softness: the inlet bar blends into the body, the spout widens gently, and the handle is a flat oval paddle you can grab with the flat of your hand. The diverter pull, a small smooth cylinder, lifts on the spout.

The dimensioned drawing indicates 140 mm in length, 90 mm in height, a 180 mm bar and 150 mm between the inlets.

It fits into a bathroom with rounded furniture, where a cubic tap would look harsh. Its wide paddle stays easy to operate with soapy hands.

Finish and material

Finish and material

The surface is brushed stainless steel, matt and light grey, visible up close in the photos from below. The supplier states a zinc alloy body coated with this finish.

Under the spout, side by side, you can see the threaded shower outlet and the grid aerator. The hose screws on with a 1/2″ nut (15x21); the supplier specifies that the tap is sold without shower head or hose.

To keep the brushed finish crisp, wipe after showering and clean with soapy water rather than an acidic product.

Wall mounting

Wall mounting

The tap screws onto two wall water outlets. The eccentrics allow a gap of 130 to 170 mm according to the supplier, which covers most replacements of existing mixers.

Fitting needs no drilling: PTFE tape on the threads, set the gap, screw the round rosettes against the tiles, then tighten the nuts. An open-ended spanner and a cloth to protect the finish are all you need.

Check there is no leak at the nuts after turning the water back on. If your wall has no inlets yet, fitting is a job for a plumber.

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?
