A lever that makes the design

A lever that makes the design

What you notice first in the detail photos is the mixer lever: a wide paddle curved downwards, almost like a wave. You push it with your fingertips, with no handle to grip, which stays pleasant with wet hands.

The mixer body is slim, with a flat spout that projects above the bath. It is fixed to two wall connectors with round rosettes, the classic set-up for an exposed bath-shower mixer. The shiny chrome matches the finish of the round bar and the straight arm that carries the rain head.

From bath to shower

From bath to shower

In bath mode, water leaves through the spout to fill the bath. A control on top of the body sends the water back up the column: to the very fine round rain head at the end of its arm, or to the round handset taken off its holder.

This holder slides along the bar: lower the handset to rinse a child sitting in the bath, raise it for a standing shower. The handset has a ring of nozzles around a centre, a sign of several jets, though the supplier does not state how many.

Above a bath: fitting

Above a bath: fitting

The mixer screws onto the two water supplies coming out of the wall above the bath. If an old wall-mounted bath-shower mixer is already in place, it is replaced on the same outlets; a well-equipped DIYer can do it, otherwise call a plumber.

The bar is then fixed to the wall by a bracket that needs drilling, in line with the mixer. Allow for the height of the bar and arm above the mixer so the rain falls above your head once you are standing in the bath. The supplier states a stainless steel body.

What makes the difference

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A stainless steel body: immune to corrosion, it keeps its look despite constant contact with water.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
Can you fill the bath with it?
Yes: the mixer has a flat spout under the body, designed for running a bath.
How do I switch from the spout to the shower?
With the control on top of the mixer, which sends the water up to the top of the column.
Is it suitable for a shower with no bath?
Yes, but the spout will only be good for filling a bucket; a column without a spout will suit better.
How do I care for the chrome?
A microfibre cloth after use and soapy water; no abrasive sponge on the lever or the rain shower head.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
