The questions everyone asks

Will it fit my setup?

Connector 1/2″: the French standard thread for water inlets, so your hoses screw straight on. Installation: wall-mounted.

Will it last?

Body in brass.

Pull or lever: the two versions

Pull or lever: the two versions

The last two photos show the two bodies offered. On one, a small cylindrical button stands on the spout: you pull it up to send water to the handset. On the other, a short lever comes out at the front of the body, and the hand swivels it, as in the photo where a red arrow marks the movement.

Both versions keep the same flat handle, rounded at the top, the same short spout with aerator, and the same round rosette against the wall.

The choice comes down mostly to habit: the pull is discreet, the lever can be found blind when your eyes are full of soap.

What the photos show

What the photos show

The body has a brushed metal look, light grey and matt, which shows drops less than a mirror chrome. Two arrows engraved on top, one towards the spout, the other towards the shower symbol, indicate the diverter position.

A detail photo gives the dimensions: about 18 cm wide and 14.5 cm high. The hose screws on under the spout, onto the threaded outlet, and hangs down towards the bath or is stowed on a rail.

A medallion shows a shower head next to the tap; nothing says it is supplied with it. The word “complete” in the title is not detailed by the supplier.

Fitting on wall inlets

Fitting on wall inlets

This mixer is fitted surface-mounted, on two water inlets that already come out of the wall: there is no hole to drill in the tiles if these outlets exist. You screw on the connectors with PTFE tape, offer up the body, then the rosettes hide the threads.

If you are replacing an old wall-mounted mixer, measure the gap between your two outlets before ordering. Without inlets in place, a plumber is needed.

Shut off the mains water before removing the old one, and open the tap after fitting to bleed the air.

What makes the difference

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

What's the difference between Type 1 and Type 2?
The price and the shape of the diverter: the photos show one model with a pull-up diverter on the spout and one with a lever on the side. Write to us if you want to know which is which before ordering.
Are the shower head and hose included?
The supplier doesn't list the box contents. Plan on a hose and a handset with a 1/2″ connector if you don't have them.
What is it made of?
The sources contradict each other (brass on one side, stainless steel on the other). The visible finish is a grey brushed metal.
Is it thermostatic?
No: it's a mixer, the handle sets flow and temperature by hand.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
