Black or chrome: two different columns

Black or chrome: two different columns

The choice of colour also changes the control. In black, the column carries a black lever mixer fixed at the bottom of the tube. In chrome, the photos show a white shelf with a round button, on which you can put a bottle.

In both cases, you get the same square rain head at the end of an angled arm, the hand shower on its slider and a bidet hand shower on the left.

Black suits a walk-in shower with dark-profile screen; chrome with a shelf goes well with light bathrooms.

Three sprays on the hand shower

Three sprays on the hand shower

The rectangular hand shower offers three sprays, which the photos call “rain under the shower”, “mixed water” and “pulsed water”. The last, tighter in the picture, is for massaging or rinsing precisely.

It sits in a slider adjustable along the tube, at everyone's height. The bidet hand shower, smaller, has its own holder and hose: it is used to rinse the tray, your feet or for intimate hygiene.

The rain head stays fixed above your head.

Installation and care

Installation and care

The column fixes to the wall on existing hot and cold water supplies, with a few holes for the tube brackets. If you are replacing a wall column, you start from the same supplies; a plumber is still recommended to create new ones.

Allow for the height of the tube and arm under the ceiling, as the shower head is carried above your head.

Matt black and chrome are cleaned with soapy water and a microfibre cloth; dry the hand shower after use if your water is hard. On black, a dry microfibre wipe at the end of the shower prevents white rings.

What makes the difference

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
