A mixer that doubles as a shelf

A mixer that doubles as a shelf

What strikes you first in the photos is the top of the mixer: a glass plate sitting on the body, wide enough for a bottle of shower gel or a soap, right within reach above the bath.

Both ends carry the controls: a chrome knob on the left, a knob with gold details on the right. Under the body, a flat spout pours water into the bath, while a hose runs to the handset. The supplier states a dual-function control: bath or shower.

The handset on its rail

The handset on its rail

The handset has a round white head, pierced with many fine nozzles: it gives a dense rain, visible in the action photo. It sits in a holder that slides along a rectangular chrome rail, fixed vertically to the wall.

Slide the holder up to shower standing, and down to rinse a child sitting in the bath or to wash the bath. Unhooked, the handset is held in the hand at the end of its silver hose. The rail goes next to the mixer; allow for a few holes in the tiles for its fixings.

Finish and installation

Finish and installation

The title says chrome: it is the dominant colour, but the photos also show rose-gold parts on the right knob and on the spout control. The supplier states a copper body and a brushed finish on some parts.

The mixer screws onto two wall supplies, hot and cold. On an old bath installation, it is often a straight replacement; if the supplies don’t exist, get a plumber in. For the glass, a microfibre cloth and a little diluted white vinegar remove water marks.

You have 30 days to change your mind if the set doesn’t suit your bathroom.

What makes the difference

A shower that turns scalding as soon as someone opens a tap elsewhere.

Our answer

A mix that stays at the setting you chose, whatever happens elsewhere on the system.

Having to buy a new handset and hose because the connector doesn't fit.

Our answer

A standard 1/2″ outlet: the handset you already have screws straight on.

Smooth controls that are impossible to operate with soapy hands.

Our answer

Positive controls, designed to be turned with wet hands.

A body that scales up and pits from constant contact with hot water.

Our answer

A limescale-resistant body — it is hot water, not use, that wears out shower fittings.

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

Our answer
  • 1 wall-mounted mixer with glass shelf
  • 1 round handset
  • 1 sliding rail with holder
  • 1 hose

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
What is the glass plate for?
It is a shelf sitting on the mixer: a bottle, soap or sponge stay within reach. No maximum load is stated, so avoid heavy objects.
Can the handset height be adjusted?
Yes, its holder slides along the vertical rail.
Is it fully chrome?
No: chrome with rose-gold details on the controls, as in the photos.
Do I need a plumber?
Not if your wall supplies are already in the right place; the rail only needs a few drill holes. Otherwise, yes.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
