What the photos really show

It is a single-lever mixer, with no graduated temperature dial: you set hot and cold in a single movement. It therefore works like a standard mixer: you set the mix of hot and cold water yourself by turning the handle.

If you want a temperature that holds by itself, turn to a true thermostatic mixer. If you want a simple shower tap for a shower room, a studio or a rental, this one does the job with no thermostatic cartridge to maintain, with a movement everyone knows.

The handle is long, flat and slightly curved: it is easy to grip, even with soapy hands. The chrome body is rounded, with no sharp angles. In the centre, a threaded outlet takes the nut of a shower hose or the tube of a rail.

The shiny chrome reflects the light and goes with most chrome hand showers. The body is stated to be zinc alloy. To clean, a damp cloth and mild soap are enough; dry it after showering so that limescale does not leave white marks on the shine.

A photo details the contents: the mixer, two brass eccentric fittings, two chrome escutcheons and a washer. The eccentrics screw into the wall outlets and are turned to match the mixer's spacing; the escutcheons then slide against the tiles to hide the thread.

On existing supplies, installation is done with a spanner and PTFE tape, without drilling. Shut off the water at the meter, remove the old tap, screw in the eccentrics, then the mixer. In doubt about your supplies? Our customer service answers you Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 6 pm.

No, it is a single-lever mixer: you set the temperature by hand and it is not regulated automatically.
