Chrome wall-mounted double-outlet tap with two levers

This tap has no spout and no hose connector for garden watering. It is a wall-mounted stop tap with one inlet and two outlets: the water arrives from the side, behind the wall plate, and leaves through two threaded outlets pointing downwards.

Two hoses screw onto it. The manufacturer's visuals show it feeding an appliance and a shower handset at the same time, or a washing machine and a second tap. It's the missing piece when a single supply has to serve two purposes in a utility room, a toilet or a garage.

Each outlet has its own lever, one on top of the body, the other at the end of the cylinder. The manufacturer stresses this point: you shut off the left one without the right one moving. Handy for closing the washing machine while you're away and keeping the other appliance supplied.

Shut-off is by a ceramic-core cartridge, which opens and closes without effort. The levers are slim and straight, easy to find behind an appliance. On the day a hose leaks or you change machine, you close the relevant lever and work on it without cutting the water to the whole house or touching the meter.

The body measures 12 cm long and 7.5 cm high, wall plate included: it fits neatly behind a machine or under a basin. It comes in silver, with a chrome look, or in black.

Before ordering, compare the diameter of the two outlets with the nut on your hoses: the tap is useless if the nuts won't screw on. When fitting, PTFE tape goes on the inlet thread; the outlets are tightened onto the washer of each hose. Keep the wall plate flat against the wall: it hides the hole where the pipe comes through.
