What's in the box

What's in the box

Its photos show everything needed laid out beside the tap: two black seals, two silver adapters and a roll of PTFE tape. No need to go back to the shop to fit the tap and connect hoses to it.

The adapters screw onto the outlets, seal in place, and turn each one into a quick-connect fitting for a clip-on hose end. The PTFE tape is for the inlet thread, marked 1/2″ in the photo: six to eight tight turns, in the direction of screwing, before screwing the tap into the wall outlet.

A quarter-turn lever, a butterfly handle

A quarter-turn lever, a butterfly handle

The large yellow handle on top opens with a quarter turn. The yellow butterfly handle on the left outlet closes that outlet independently: one hose can stay connected while the other works.

Note that the exact shape of the handle can vary from one shipment to another: the manufacturer states this on its photos, which show four lever designs. The operation stays the same. The visuals show its uses: watering flowers, connecting a watering timer, feeding a washing machine or washing the car. With two outlets, you keep the timer connected on one and unroll the hose on the other, without ever disconnecting anything.

Measurements and the cold season

Measurements and the cold season

The tap measures 15 cm long by 10 cm high. The threaded inlet is 2 cm, the outlets 2.5 cm and the connector nozzles 1.6 cm.

The visuals state an operating range of -20 °C to 80 °C. Water standing in the body can still freeze: turn off the supply upstream from the first cold nights, open the handle and the butterfly handle, then bring in the hoses. You have 30 days to change your mind after receipt. A round wall plate, visible in some photos, goes with fitting on a façade.

What makes the difference

Draining the tap every autumn and still finding it split in spring.

Our answer

A valve that closes upstream of the wall: no water is left standing in the part exposed to frost.

A smooth nozzle that no hose connector will grip.

Our answer

A threaded nozzle to the standard used by off-the-shelf quick connectors.

A thin handwheel that's impossible to turn in wet gloves.

Our answer

A quarter-turn opening, on a wide control.

Paint that blisters in the first summer.

Our answer

A material made for outdoors: sun, rain and frost make no difference.

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

Our answer
  • 1 double-outlet tap
  • 2 quick-connect adapters
  • 2 seals
  • 1 roll of PTFE tape

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
Is the water drinkable?
No: the manufacturer states it is not intended for drinking water.
Will the handle be the one in the photo?
Not necessarily: the manufacturer states that the handle model is random. The quarter-turn operation is identical.
What are the adapters for?
They screw onto the outlets, with their seal, to take a hose with a clip-on end.
What thread do I need on the wall?
A 1/2″ female outlet, i.e. 15x21, as shown in the photo.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
