Why put a mixer on a toilet bidet sprayer

Why put a mixer on a toilet bidet sprayer

A sprayer connected to the cistern gives only cold water. This one is connected to hot and cold water: you set the temperature with the lever, as at the basin.

It's the comfort of a washlet toilet, without changing your toilet.

A single lever is enough: no two taps to balance, no icy water on first contact. A real plus for children, older people, or after an operation, when water that's too cold becomes unpleasant. The same lever also controls the flow: a gentle trickle or a fuller jet, depending on its position.

A square design with nothing sticking out

A square design with nothing sticking out

The mixer body fits inside the wall, behind a square rose. The flat lever and the square handset line up on the same axis: a clean look, to match square-style taps and fittings.

The handset holder is part of the mixer: a single element on the wall.

The matt black in the main photo also comes in gold, rose gold, chrome and brushed stainless steel. In the variant photos, the hose follows the shade of the mixer each time. The sharp angles of the rose, the lever and the handset form a coherent set, without a single curve.

What you need at home

What you need at home

The mixer needs two supplies, hot and cold water, where it will be fitted. The body is built into the wall: plan the fitting during a renovation, or with a plumber.

Everything needed is in the box: brass body, rose, handset, hose, holder, wall plugs, screws and fitting spanners.

Day to day, folding the lever down after use cuts the water upstream of the hose: the handset stays dry between uses. Without these two supplies, a sprayer on a 3-way tap, connected to the cistern's cold water, is the better choice.

What makes the difference

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

A zamak body with a simple chrome plating: the finish flakes off and the metal pits underneath.

Our answer

A brass body, the benchmark material for taps: it does not rust and withstands hot water without warping.

Finding out at installation that the drilling does not match.

Our answer

The installation type is stated on the product page before you buy, here wall-mounted.

+33 7 56 88 18 90 Write to us
Do I need a hot water supply?
Yes: it is a mixer, it blends hot and cold water. So both supplies are needed where it is fitted.
Do I have to knock through the wall?
The mixer body is built into the wall: it is ideally fitted during a renovation or by a plumber.
What is in the box?
The brass concealed body, the square wall plate, the handset, the hose, the holder, the wall plugs, the screws and the fitting keys.
Does matt black scratch?
Clean it with a soft cloth and soapy water; avoid abrasive sponges and chlorine-based products, which dull it.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
