4-jet hydromassage shower system with glass shelf

The supplied diagram gives the measurements: panel 110 cm high and 25 cm wide, 6 cm thick, shower head arm projecting 37 cm. The shower head extends above the top of the panel: add its height to check the space under your ceiling.

The panel is fixed to the wall, surface-mounted, on a single supply from below: the water rises through a hose hidden behind it.

It can replace an old shower column without redoing the tiles. Only the lower supply matters: if it is already there, installation takes a few drill holes, and in most cases no plumber is needed.

On the front, four round chrome nozzles are arranged in pairs, at back and lower-back height. One photo shows the jets coming out head-on while rain falls from the shower head.

Two round chrome controls, one above the other, control the water; the supplier does not detail the exact role of each. The round multi-spray handset sits on a side holder and comes down on its hose.

The photos show three ways to shower: shower head, nozzles or handset. The nozzles aim at the lower back, where the day’s fatigue is felt.

A toughened glass shelf with a chrome rail runs across the panel below the shower head. It holds shower gel and shampoo, and its edge stops a bottle from sliding off.

The panel is white with light inserts; wipe it with a soft cloth. On the glass, a squeegee or microfibre cloth removes limescale marks.

If your water is hard, descale the nozzles from time to time with diluted white vinegar. The rounded shape at the top and bottom of the panel avoids sharp corners in a small shower. The shower head and handset, both round, keep the same soft line as the panel.
