Anti-Limescale Shower Head, 3 Sprays

The head is wide and round, with a black face pierced by many holes and a central circle. The photos line up its three sprays: a diffuse rain, an intermediate spray and a tighter spray coming from the centre.

Beneath the head, the chrome handle has a black oval cut-out where the thumb rests. The handset sits well in the hand, even wet, and fits in a standard holder.

The head is clearly wider than on an entry-level shower head: the rain covers more of the shoulders, without having to keep moving the handset.

An exploded-view photo shows the black front plate, a white membrane bristling with nubs that fits into the holes, then the chrome body and its spray mechanism. This membrane forms the water outlets.

The supplier presents this shower head as anti-limescale: in practice, nothing replaces regular rinsing. Run your hand over the face with the water on to clear any early deposits.

The body is ABS plastic, chrome-plated on the outside. If a spray weakens over time, it is a sign that holes are blocking up: soaking the head in diluted white vinegar frees them.

The end of the handle is threaded to the standard 1/2″ (15x21): it screws by hand onto an ordinary shower hose, washer in place. No tools, no plumber.

One of the photos shows the shower head with a washer and a ribbed chrome hose. If you keep your hose, simply check the condition of its washer before tightening.

You have 30 days to change your mind after receiving it. On the photo of the connector, the black washer sits at the bottom of the hose nut, against the shower head thread: it is the washer that ensures the seal, not the force of tightening.
