A square pen rather than a shower head

A square pen rather than a shower head

The handset measures 200 mm long by 30 mm wide, according to the dimensioned drawing, with a square section from end to end. The top bends forward over a few centimetres: the outlet plate naturally faces the body when you hold it.

It's a handset for a bathroom with straight lines: square tapware, an extra-flat shower tray, a fixed glass screen. It stores in its square bracket, next to a mixer or under a rain shower head.

Its square section has a practical advantage: placed on the edge of a bath or a shelf, it doesn't roll away.

What the photos show

What the photos show

The outlet plate is a dark rectangle recessed into the body, covered in small silicone nozzles. A close-up shows a finger pressing them: in limescale-heavy water, that's how you knock deposits off.

At the bottom, the G1/2 threaded end screws onto a standard hose. The wall bracket, shown in the photos and in the title, is a cube with sharp edges, in the same finish as the handset.

Choose the colour to suit your tapware: matt black, shiny gold or anthracite grey. The gold version is glossy, whereas the black stays matt.

Installation and care

Installation and care

The bracket mounts on the wall: allow for two holes to drill and wall plugs suited to your tiles. The handset then screws on by hand to your 1/2″ (15x21) hose, no plumber needed.

The hose isn't listed in the package: keep yours or get one in the same shade. For care, use soapy water and a soft cloth, especially on matt black and gold, which don't like abrasive products.

Place the bracket at a height everyone can reach without stretching: often shoulder height, next to the mixer, in line with the hose so it hangs without twisting.

What makes the difference

Calling a plumber to upgrade your shower.

Our answer

A standard 1/2″ thread: it screws on by hand in five minutes, with no need to shut off the water at the meter.

A harsh jet that hits one spot and leaves your back cold.

Our answer

A wide spray area: at the same flow rate, the water covers your shoulders.

Limescale-clogged holes that can no longer be cleared.

Our answer

Soft nubs that clean with a swipe of the finger.

A heavy head that's a chore to hold when rinsing a child.

Our answer

A weight you can hold at arm's length, even with one hand.

Receiving just the one part, and having to order the rest elsewhere.

Our answer
  • 1 pen-style handset

For the bracket, yes: it fixes to the wall. The handset simply screws onto the hose.
What are the dimensions?
200 mm long, 30 mm wide and 35 mm thick at the point where the head tilts, according to the manufacturer's drawing.
Grey or black?
The black is matt and deep; the grey is a metallic anthracite, lighter, close to dark stainless steel.
Are taps easy to install yourself?

Most of our models are designed to be easy to fit yourself, with clear instructions and standard tools. For some of the more complex models, it may be advisable to call in a professional.

What should I do if my tap starts to leak?

If your tap starts to leak, first check whether the problem comes from the seals or the cartridge. These parts can wear over time and are easy to replace. If the problem persists, contact our customer service team for help or to claim under the guarantee, if applicable.
